The Gallbladder Meridian
The Gallbladder meridian
When you look at the pathway of the Gallbladder meridian, you may notice a few things.
1. The Gallbladder meridian runs along the absolute lateral plane of the body
2. The Gallbladder meridian makes many turns, running in a zig zag pattern along the head, the side of the body, and somewhat in the leg as well.
When the flow of the Gallbladder meridian is impacted by physical stress, the Qi flow can become obstructed. The most common areas of obstruction are at these points where the meridian pivots.
Because of the pathway of the Gallbladder meridian, it is an important consideration for treating symptoms such as headaches, neck, shoulder, hip pain, tight IT bands, and foot and ankle problems.
