These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your use of the Meridian Care Center website located at https://meridiancarecenter.com (Site) and constitute a binding contractual agreement between you (you, your) and us, Meridian Care Center, 1661 Lower Craigmont Rd. Combermere On Canada K0J 1L0
By accessing and using the Site and our Services, you warrant: (i) that you have had sufficient chance to read, review and understand these Terms (ii) you agree to be bound by them.

Waiver of Liability and Informed Consent
Privacy Policy: We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information. Any personal information received will only be used to fill your order. We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone.
Photograpy, Video, and Digital Assets: All images, video and other digital assets remain the sole ownership of Meridian Care Center Inc. Any unauthorized use of these materials will result in legal proceedings.
We take your privacy seriously. Any photographs and video taken during online or live events where a clients face or identifiable features are shown will be done so with consent from the participant. These images will not be used publicly without consent from the participant. If you are participating in a live or online event, please let the facilitator know ahead of time that you withdraw consent for photograpy and video.
Course Registration Checklist and Informed Consent form
Please read all of our Registration Policies and Procedures and sign the following page to confirm your acceptance and understanding.
- Certificates of Completion are remitted to Participants who have successfully completed an entire seminar, day, or course. Certificates are remitted only at the end of a seminar or course.
- Certificates are sent via email, once participation in the course has been confirmed. If a stamp from a certifying body is required, participants need to inform the administration on registration for the course, to confirm approval.
- In live courses, each participant will be asked to initial beside their name to indicate that they have seen the consent, and that all information provided is current and correct. If the re-issue of a certificate is required, a $25 administrative fee will be charged.
- If a re-issue of an invoice, certificate or receipt, an administration charge of $25 will be applied.
- We require a minimum confirmed attendance by the course registration closing date. The minimum will be set by the facilitator, and the decision to run the course will be made at the early bird deadline – which is one month prior to the course. A seminar might be postponed or cancelled if there are insufficient participants
- We will advise registered Participants within one week prior to a scheduled seminar if it will be rescheduled due to insufficient registration. The seminar will be rescheduled within 3 months of the original date, and with in a 50km, or 25 mile radius. If we are unable to reschedule within these parameters, and it is NOT for medical reasons, a refund will be administered to participants.
- Practitioners, who register for a seminar, cannot de-register and request refunds unless valid medical reasons along with documentation is given.
- Practitioners who registered and paid, then cannot participate for personal medical emergency, can receive a credit to be applied to future seminars.
- If a Practitioner who previously registered for a course or seminar that is postponed no longer wishes to participate in the course or seminar at its rescheduled time, they can apply for a refund. The refund will be issued , minus a 15% administrative charge .
- The Meridian Care Centre is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items arising from participation in any seminar. We are also not responsible for claim of personal injury resulting from participation in a seminar. Participants are obligated to ensure that their professional liability insurance covers any damages of their own doing.
- We reserve the right to ask any participant who is repeatedly engaging in behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful to the Instructor, upsetting to other participants, or not in harmony with the purpose of the group to leave the course/seminar.
- Participants who are asked to leave will be reimbursed the amount proportional to the balance of the time of the course or seminars they will miss. Our Facilitators reserve the right to ask a disruptive participant to leave at their discretion.
Pre-Requisites for the training
In order to qualify for this training, you must be a health care professional or have a minimum 100 hours of training in anatomy and physiology. You may be required to provide documentation to prove your training and if you cannot provide proof you may be asked to leave the training. No refunds will be issued in this case.
ALL MATERIALS RECEIVED DURING COURSES ARE COPYWRITED AND TRADEMARKED BY THE MERIDIAN CARE CENTRE AND THE CUPPING REVOLUTION. IF IT IS BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT ANY OF THESE MATERIALS ARE BEING RE-ISSUED OR USED WITHOUT EXPRESS CONSENT OF THE FOUNDER OF THE MERIDIAN CARE CENTRE, AND THE CUPPING REVOLUTION, IT IS ILLEGAL, AND LEGAL PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Description of Services:
Meridian Care Center is the professional provider of education and products that pertain to the professional services of Massage Therapy, Bodywork, and East Asian Medicine. All training is professional continuing education provided by Licensed and Certified practitioners. Products have been professionally tested and if used properly should produce no risk of harm. Products to be used at practitioners own discretion, and professional training is advised before using all products.
Medical Disclaimer
- The content on our Site is for general informational purposes only. The information and material available on this Site is not intended as, and should not be used to replace specific professional medical advice (including advice on diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any medical condition) or for any therapeutic purpose.
- You acknowledge and agree that the Site is an information service only. Meridian Care Centre is not responsible for any injury or loss that you may suffer as a result of following advice on the Site. You must not rely on the information on this Site as an alternative to medical advice from a medical practitioner or other professional. Cancellation policy
Cancellation and Refund on Live training: All Registrations are final.
Practitioners who registered and paid, then cannot participate for personal medical emergency, can receive a credit to be applied to future seminars. Proof of medical emergency may be required in the form of a doctors note.
If a Practitioner who previously registered for a course or seminar that is postponed no longer wishes to participate in the course or seminar at its rescheduled time, they can apply for a refund. The refund will be issued, minus a 15% administrative charge.
If for some reason the live event needs to be cancelled, the event will be rescheduled at the earliest possible time. Registrants will be given at least three weeks notice to modify their schedule. If the event cannot be held live (in person) within 12 months the event will be held in an online format.
Cancellation and Refund on Online Courses: You have 24 hours to review the course materials. If any course materials have been downloaded, the course is considered active and there will be no refund issued. You will have lifetime access to the materials and are permitted ONE download per purchase for personal use. Using these materials for anything other than personal use (sharing with others, teaching from the materials) is considered unlawful and may have legal repercussions.
Cancellation and Refund on Memberships: Memberships are an annual service whereby members have 12 months to review and consume all course materials provided in the membership. It is a 12 month service and can be paid in monthly installments or as a one time fee. If a member on a monthly payment plan should choose to cancel their membership, they will have the following three options:
Pay out the Membership with a one-time fee – this option allows the member to pay out the remaining cost of their membership with a one-time fee. In this case the monthly payments will cease once the membership is paid in full.
Pausing the Membership – this option gives members the opportunity to pause the membership and re-start within 3 months. In cases of financial trouble, members can apply for this option. The remaining balance of the monthly membership will be expected to be paid in full, by monthly installments delayed by the number of months that the membership has been paused. Alternately, the membership can be paid out in full at this time.
Upgrading or Downgrading – You are welcome to upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time. In this case you will be pro-rated the difference in the membership fee moving forward. Just send an email to help@meridiancarecenter.com and we will accommodate your request.
Once your membership period has been completed, you will no longer have access to the course materials unless you choose to purchase a license to own them.
Failed Payment Policy
When a payment is failed, Meridian Care Center will re-try your payment three times, each two days apart.
Administration Fees
For any requests that require administration such as the re-issue of a certificate of training, or cancellation of a course or membership there will be a $25 administration fee. Course participants will receive full support for questions regarding the course content. When exceptional assistance with accessing materials where instructions have been sent and the participant is requiring further help when all technical issues have been resolved, there will be a $25 administration fee.
Intellectual Property
- All material on this Site and information otherwise delivered by us including (but not limited to) information material, articles, content, text, graphics, information architecture and coding (Content), is subject to copyright. While you may browse or print Content for non-commercial, personal or internal business use, you must obtain our prior written permission if you’d like to use, copy or reproduce it. Modification of the Content for any other purpose is a violation of our copyright and other proprietary rights and is strictly prohibited.
- You acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights by using the Site or Content.
- The trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on our Site are the registered or unregistered trademarks of Meridian Care Centre. The trademarks whether registered or unregistered, may not be used in connection with any product or service that does not belong to Meridian Care Centre, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion with customers, or in any manner that disparages Meridian Care Centre.
- Nothing contained on this Site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, any license or right to use any trade mark without our express written permission.
- You agree that damages may be an inadequate remedy to a breach of these Terms and acknowledge that Meridian Care Centre will be entitled to seek injunctive relief if such steps are necessary to prevent violations of its intellectual property rights.
- Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Meridian Care Centre grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the Site for your personal, non-commercial use.
- You agree that:
- the Site and its Services will remain the sole property of Meridian Care Centre and is subject to protection of copyright;
- Meridian Care Centre (and its licensors) owns all rights, title and interest, including all related intellectual property rights, in and to the Site;
- The provision of the Site does not transfer to you for any third party rights, title or interest in or to such Site.
- The Meridian Care Centre name, logo and the product names associated with the Site belong to Meridian Care Centre (or its licensors, where applicable) and no right or license is granted to use them by implication, or otherwise. Meridian Care Centre reserves all rights not granted in this agreement.
Warranties
- To the extent legally permitted, we exclude all conditions, warranties, guarantees and similar, whether express or implied, as to the condition, suitability, quality, fitness or safety of any products or services supplied by us (Warranties), other than those implied by statute which may not be legally excluded. Any liability we may have to you under warranties implied by statute which cannot be excluded is limited, where expressly permitted by statute, to supplying, or paying the cost of supplying, the products or services again or repairing, or paying the costs of repairing, the products, at our sole discretion.
Limit of Liability
- The disclaimers, liability limitations and indemnities within these Terms do not exclude rights that by law may not be excluded. Such rights include, but are not limited to, those rights under Canadiian Consumer Law.
- We do not make any express or implied representation or warranty about, and shall not be liable in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss, damages or reliance in connection with our Site or Content.
- In no event will we be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to any direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive or incidental damages, or damages for loss of use, profits, data or other intangibles, or the cost of procurement of substitute products or services arising out of or related to the use, inability to use, unauthorised use, performance or non-performance of or reliance upon our Site or Content.
- These limitations and terms include (but are not restricted to) loss or damage you might suffer as a result of:
- Reliance on the completeness, accuracy, suitability or currency of information, products or services irrespective of any verifying measures taken by you (including third party material and advertisements).
- Failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, failure to correct defects, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or harmful component, loss of data, communication line failure, unlawful third party conduct, or theft, destruction, alteration or unauthorised access to records.
- Accessing sites or servers maintained by other organisations through links on our Site or products or services. Links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse linked sites nor their products and services and you access them at your own risk.
- The use of credit card or other financial information, failure to complete (or delay in completing) any transaction, or other loss or damage arising from any transaction made or attempted on our Site.
Your Indemnity
- You indemnify us from all actions, suits, claims, demands, liabilities, costs, expenses, loss and damage (including legal fees on a full indemnity basis) incurred or suffered by you or us as a direct or indirect consequence of using or attempting to use our information, products, services or any breach by you or your agents of these Terms. Pricing Policy
- We reserve the right to change any of the services at any time without prior warning or notice.
- We reserve the right to change all treatment, product and service prices at any time without further notice. Treatment prices may vary from client to client depending on the program, service or product sold to or brought by the individual client based on their personalised needs.
Right to Terminate
- We reserve the right to terminate your use of our Site or our products and/or services generally if you breach these Terms, as determined by us in our sole discretion. Refunds are not provided for our products and/or services that have been rendered by us, including where You have been given access to Our Content whether accessed by You or not, unless We are in breach of the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
- Refunds will be provided where required under the Canadian Consumer Law.
Affiliate Disclosure
- As affiliates of certain products and services we may receive compensation for recommending and promoting products/services linked to from our Site.
Entire Agreement
- These Terms (including any terms or policies incorporated by reference) set out the entire agreement between you and us concerning its subject matter and supersedes all prior communications.
Alterations

Dispute Resolution
- Should a dispute arise between us, we strongly encourage you to contact Meridian Care Centre by email admin@thecuppingrevolution.comto seek a resolution. Any reasonable requests will be considered and Meridian Care Centre will attempt to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation or arbitration, as alternatives to litigation.
Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the law of Ontario, Canada. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario and its appellate courts.
